After the partnership we made in 2010, our first job was to supply the hospital equipment products of the Romanian company. Meanwhile, we started to import products. In addition, by entering tenders in hospitals in Turkey, we supplied products such as surgical gloves, injectors, serum sets, cannulas, examination gloves, abeslang to hospitals.

STRENGTHENING WITH EXPERIENCED PARTNERS

Hayrettin Şeker, who stated that they partnered with his colleagues Hakan Timur and Celal Nar, who are also experienced in the sector, in the Berika Medikal companies they founded together with his Romanian partner Christian Topor, said, “Our products were highly appreciated by our suppliers and we were continuing to grow day by day. Later, we increased our strength by partnering with our experienced friends in the medical sector, Hakan Timur and Celal Nar. During the process of supplying hospital equipment, we noticed that there is a serious decrease in quality of medical gas systems in Turkey. Unfortunately, they did not think about quality in this field in hospitals and worked on a price basis. There was a quality gap in this area in Turkey. We also started production for private hospitals, university hospitals or hospitals abroad that want quality products. We have been successful in this. We have exported to 17 countries so far and we have received very high customer satisfaction.” he said.

MORE THAN 1 MILLION INJECTORS PRODUCTION DAILY

Stating that they produce more than 1 million injectors daily within the body of Berika Medikal, Hayrettin Şeker said, “We had meetings with foreign companies in 2014 and we decided to manufacture injectors. Since our working area was not enough, we wanted to move to a large area that could be suitable for production. Construction of our new location started in 2015. In 2016, the machines arrived and we set up our system in our new place. We received our CE certificate and started production at the end of 2016. We currently have a closed area of ​​5200 square meters. 2500 square meters of this area consists of clean rooms. We have a staff team of 150 people in total. We have a daily production capacity of 1 million 200 thousand injectors.”

LEADING BRAND IN 2 DIFFERENT PRODUCTS

Noting that as Berika Medikal, they are currently producing 2 different products, Hayrettin Şeker said, “We are producing bedside units and operating room pendants on medical gas systems. We also manufacture injectors. Actually, we are producing in our factory like two different companies. We export 90-95 percent of medical gas systems. As for injectors, we serve the Turkish market and the foreign market. In the field of injectors, our team works 3 shifts a day and therefore we provide 24/7 service.”

HYGIENE SENSITIVE COMPANY

Expressing that they are very sensitive about hygiene as they produce products in the field of health, Hayrettin Şeker said, “Hygiene is very important in our sector. Our staff goes through three stages before starting work. He takes off his shoes and enters the room with slippers. Then she changes her dress and enters another room, where she also changes her slippers and puts on her clean room clothes. They are disinfected with an air shower and start work. In the working environment, our machines are wiped with alcohol every day and we have a clean room in GMP standards. We have a hygienic production facility where pharmaceuticals can be produced.”

TARGET LEADING THE FIRST

Stating that Berika Medikal products are preferred due to their quality production and they want to break new ground in this direction, Hayrettin Şeker said, “Currently, there are seven engineers in our team. Our entire working system is computer controlled. We are advancing in the scientific direction by using technology intensively.
